Everything is so different now. It wasn’t exactly better than before, but I had more fun. Back when Alick was just my partner and best friend, instead of Mel’s. Before she came I could do whatever I wanted at Alick’s place. Now I have to ask to stay over, and I can’t eat whatever I want. You walk into one room without asking and it’s a rule. Hear my voice, heed my cry,
Share the power that you hide.
It starts with nightmares. Scenes of places you’ve never been to, or even thought could exist. With that, dear friend, you are wrong. Night after night you fight for your life, hoping to stay alive but also hoping for the relief from it all that only the sweet taste of death can give. “What was that?” Malachi asked after Melissa had left to the bathroom.
“What was what?”
“Since when do you huge anyone, let alone a charge?” I could see the disbelief across his face. I had broken a major personal rule of mine, one that I didn’t even let him break.
“I don’t know, I just thought she was in need of some comforting.”
Malachi looked down at where I sat with a devious expression. “You liked it didn’t you? You li

Introduction
The winding road lead deeper and deeper in to the unforgiving darkness. The howling of the wind seemed angry, warning us to return to our home at once. A sly chill crept down my spine as our car moved forward; a ringing of uneasiness filled my ears as we reached the abandoned factory, that for tonight and tonight alone, held the infamous House of Horrors.
“Are … are you sure we should be here?” my voice cracking in more than one place in my stuttered sentence.
“Relax its fine.” My sister reassured me. It didn’t work. Having always been the calm

Escape. It is the only thought that ever seems to cross my mind these days. Do these strangers around me realize who I am? Will someone recognize me? Will one of them be the one to finally turn me in? Where is my escape? The constant fear was always there, always had these questions racing through my mind.
Things didn’t use to be this way. They used to be better, happier. Back then I was able to walk down the street without having to worry about someone noticing me. It’s different now. Now I flinch every time I see someone reaches for their phone. The terror of being sent back has me wrapp

What does it mean to be a friend? Is it hanging out adn talking or is it more. I know my bestest friends are people i turn to in times of good and bad. When something happens I think of them right away and cant wait to share it with them. Even though we are far away now, just texting them makes me feel so much better. A friend, a true best friend isnt a friend at all, its a sister by chose.
